Delete it yourself, right now
- Open Aside and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account (under Data).
- Confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately and permanently.
Deleting the app by itself does not delete your account — use the in-app option above, or email us below.

from the email address on your Aside account, with the subject Delete my account.
We'll verify you own the account and delete it. We complete email requests within 30 days (usually much sooner) and email you when it's done.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in.
- Every trip, expense, and set-aside you logged.
- Your vehicle details and annual mileage.
- Any receipt photos you attached.
- Your support messages.
What's kept, and why
Deletion is immediate and permanent — we keep no backup you can restore from, with two limited exceptions required for security and law:
- Encrypted backups: residual copies may remain in our hosting provider's encrypted daily backups for up to 7 days before they're rotated and overwritten.
- Consent record: we keep a minimal record that you accepted the Terms and Privacy Policy — which version, and the date — to establish and defend legal claims, as described in our Privacy Policy. It contains no financial data.
